Our mission is to travel to South Africa in attempts to share the love our father has put into our hearts. We will work with orphans and Aids victims through a wonderful center called Ithemba. Here we will be able to connect with the kids and show them they have not been forgotten. We will spend our days playing with them and loving them just like Jesus has taught us too. We will also be working to film some of the devastation and poverty left from the Apartheid in South Africa, as well as the rising AIDS epidemic throughout Africa so that we can be the voice of a people who have been silenced for far too long.

If you would like to help us by donating from what God has blessed you with, click on the "donate" link under the video to the right of the page. From there you will find out the many ways you can help support our trip and the kids at Ithemba.

I thank all of you for your interest in this cause and I pray that God burdens your heart for the plight of these children of God.

In Him,

And So We're Off....

Truthfully, the trip hasn't really sunk in for me yet. The idea that almost a year's worth of planning, mistakes, roadblocks, successes, and failures has come down to just 48 hours of waiting...it just is to much for me to grasp right now. Whether I finally grasp the reality of it or not, our group leaves this Wednesday June 1, at 10 A.M. We have spent the last couple of days preparing our bags, talking over final details, and of course sharing a very loud conversation over a few roles at O'charleys. Our team has grown from a handfull of public and private school kids to a close nit team that will only grow closer as we are crammed into a plane for 17 hours. I believe I speak for everyone when I say this has gone from just an adventure, to being the full outflow of God's devine hand. We understand that there are trials ahead, that we won't always get along, and that sometimes taking up the last of the hot water will seem like the end of the world...but we know through it all God has his hand on us.

What I ask now is this. That you stay with us every step of the way. I know physically that is absurd, but spiritually it is more than possible. We need your prayers now more than ever. It is in God's name we go, so in God's name we ask that you send us. Ask for us strength when we don't feel like getting up, patience when things don't go our way, peace for the times our hearts are burdened, hope for the days when all we see is hopelessness, and finally a strong tailwind so our flight arrives on time!

Thank you all for your support and love over these last few months, and the weeks left ahead.

In Him,
Michael Tyree
